There are two charities that are incredibly close to our hearts that we would like to give aid in their fight to create treatments, fund programs and find cures. A percentage of the proceeds from sales of Our Friends in Chairs with Wheels will be given back to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Here’s some information about both of them.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now—to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. They exist to make sure it doesn’t.
They help each person address the challenges of living with MS through our 50-state network of chapters. The Society helps people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
MISSION STATEMENT: The Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
